Description
Pottery painting parties brought to you! Looking for a creative activity for a children's party, hen do or other special occasion? We can bring the party to you, either to your home or a venue of your choice. This party is designed to cater for 10 people but can be tailored to a different number - just get in touch to discuss your requirements. I will come to your venue prior to your party and set up everything needed for your activity. I can then do a little demo with the host, giving hints and tips, and leave printed instructions for sharing with the guests. Once you've created your wonderful pieces I will return to collect everything. Within a week or two the items will be glaze dipped and fired in the kiln before being returned to the host to distribute. Once you've booked your party date I will be in touch to confirm the arrangements and send you a list of ceramic items and glaze colours to choose from. Pottery painting activity can be delivered within a 30 mile radius from Inverness city centre. Additional travel charges will apply for other areas. Want just as much fun but at a slightly more affordable price? Ask me about pottery acrylic painting parties! Great for kids parties and since there is no kiln involved, children can take their pieces of art home the same day, with parties starting from £200.

Having developed a passion for wildlife and nature from a young age, I am now very fortunate to live in the beautiful village of Foyers, a small Highland community on the south-side of Loch Ness. I have a degree in Wildlife Biology, a post graduate Diploma in Occupational Therapy and am currently employed as a Specialist Occupational Therapist at Highland Hospice, where I am privileged to manage a small but dedicated team of therapists. A much loved and very special part of my role is the facilitation of therapeutic patient art groups in our purpose built Art Room. I love sharing creativity. I also work from a small pottery studio in Lower Foyers, just 5 minutes walk from the famous Falls of Foyers and the shores of Loch Ness. I thrive on exploring new processes having developed skills in ceramics, enamelling, jewellery making and printmaking. Jen x
