We're popping up at Flaura Rose in Ouseburn, Newcastle with this Personalised Metal Stamped Christmas Decoration workshop on Thursday 5th December from 18:00 - 20:00. Gather your nearest and dearest to make personalised decorations to adorn your tree, your presents, your table, the dog, the only limit is your imagination. This workshop is suitable for beginners with no previous jewellery making experience. The workshop allows participants to learn basic techniques and skills to create their metal stamped Christmas decorations. During this workshop you'll learn basic metal stamping techniques to stamp using guides and freehand using letter/number and design stamps. You'll also learn how to add a pop of colour and finish with ribbon for hanging. Soft refreshments and festive treats will be provided. BYOB if you wish! Places are limited to ten people on this workshop to allow individuals sufficient time with Lindsay to assist with each project.

Use of required equipment/tools. All materials to make; up to x5 metal stamped decorations. On hand experienced tutor to instruct and guide you through the course. Tea/coffee & festive biscuits/cakes/mince pies!

Lindsay Forbes has worked in the jewellery industry since graduating in 3D Design in 2010. Working in a variety of areas from retail to repair, she has a great amount of knowledge in jewellery design and technical skills in goldsmithing. Following her passion for designing and making jewellery she founded her own business; Laconic. Passing on knowledge and skills is something that Lindsay enjoys doing and creating a fun, friendly environment where people can come to relax, be creative and learn and so 'Bench Box' was created!
