Metal Stamped Birthflower Pendant/Bracelet Workshop; Sedgefield
Description
This workshop is suitable for beginners with no previous jewellery making experience. The workshop allows participants to learn basic techniques and skills to create your own metal stamped charm for a pendant or bracelet. On this workshop we'll demonstrate how to use a disc cutter to cut disc shapes (a selection of pre-made shapes will be available). You'll then practise metal stamping techniques. on copper first, before creating your personalised pendant. Learning how to wire wrap a birthstone bead to add a pop of colour before attaching your chain to finish. Additional silver charms are available to purchase on the day should you wish to make more or make a pair of earrings. During this workshop refreshments will be provided. Places are limited to ten people on this workshop to allow individuals sufficient time with Lindsay to assist with each project.

Lindsay Forbes has worked in the jewellery industry since graduating in 3D Design in 2010. Working in a variety of areas from retail to repair, she has a great amount of knowledge in jewellery design and technical skills in goldsmithing. Following her passion for designing and making jewellery she founded her own business; Laconic. Passing on knowledge and skills is something that Lindsay enjoys doing and creating a fun, friendly environment where people can come to relax, be creative and learn and so 'Bench Box' was created!
