Join embroidery artist Jessica Grady for a live online workshop looking at creating beautiful hand stitched floral blooms on fabric. Create your own fabric sampler with a variety of stitched flowers all created using combinations of hand embroidery stitches. Jessica will show you how to use simple stitches and a variety of yarn types to layer up and build your colourful floral garden! Throughout the workshop Jessica will be sharing her tips, tricks and techniques for creating beautiful flowers with a contemporary twist. You will leave the workshop with the beginnings of your own floral design on fabric. Suitable for all abilities. This workshop listing is for access to the online workshop only, if you are located outside the UK you can purchase a workshop ticket and watch in your own time! A full list of materials needed for the class will be emailed over to you before the live workshop.

- Embroidery hoop - 5 or 6 inch - Base fabric - Mixed threads - Needle (I would recommend a 16 or 18 chenille for size, or anything you have that has a large eye and sharp point) - Scissors

Of course! My courses are designed in a way that means all abilities and levels can join - I teach by technique so there is no wrong way to create your textile sample, and joining the live workshops means you have direct access to asking questions for any trouble shooting.
Yes you can! The only difference is that I can only post materials packs in the UK, so you will have to contact the artist to receive a full list of what you need to take part. Jessica is a big believer on reusing and using simple, accessible materials so she is very happy to offer alternative suggestions and help to ensure you have everything you need to enjoy the course.
If you can yes please! However I understand this does not work for everyone, and therefore if you would like to do the workshop in your own time, please purchase the course and contact the artist to let her know you are watching in your own time via the recording.
