Colourful Embellished Mixed Media Brooches - (workshop only)
Description
This listing is for international participants, or those who would like to use their own materials to join the live online brooch workshop. Please note the workshop will be set to UK/London time. In this fun and creative 90 min live online workshop, embroidery artist Jessica Grady will show you her tips and techniques to create your own unique hand stitched and embellished mixed media brooch or appliqué patch. Techniques shown in the workshop will include ruffled and pleated fabric textures, folded sequins, stacked beads and couched washers. You will finish the workshop with your completed brooch. The live workshop will be held on Zoom, and Jessica will email through all the joining details in advance of the workshop start. It is encouraged to join the class live but you can also watch in your own time as everyone who purchases a ticket will also receive a recording copy for 30 days after the live workshop, along with a digital PDF. This workshop is suitable for all abilities!

Of course! My courses are designed in a way that means all abilities and levels can join - I teach by technique so there is no wrong way to create your textile sample, and joining the live workshops means you have direct access to asking questions for any trouble shooting.
Yes you can! The only difference is that I can only post materials packs in the UK, so you will have to contact the artist to receive a full list of what you need to take part. Jessica is a big believer on reusing and using simple, accessible materials so she is very happy to offer alternative suggestions and help to ensure you have everything you need to enjoy the course.
If you can yes please! However I understand this does not work for everyone, and therefore if you would like to do the workshop in your own time, please purchase the course and contact the artist to let her know you are watching in your own time via the recording.
