Description
This listing is for international participants, or those who would like to use their own materials to join the live online brooch workshop. Please note the workshop will be set to UK/London time. Join artist Jessica Grady for a creative mixed media live online workshop, to make your own stitched abstract collage using recycled materials. Jessica will show you ways to layer your collage, adding mark-making and hand stitched and embellished detail to make a unique outcome. Your collage will be stitched onto thin card of your choice. All abilities are welcome! Techniques taught in the workshop include, design composition, playing with positive/negative shapes, adding pattern with mark-making and stitch and folded embellishment details. The workshop is held live on Zoom. It is encouraged to join the class live but you can also watch in your own time as everyone who purchases a ticket will also receive a recording copy for 30 days after the live workshop, along with a digital PDF.

Of course! My courses are designed in a way that means all abilities and levels can join - I teach by technique so there is no wrong way to create your textile sample, and joining the live workshops means you have direct access to asking questions for any trouble shooting.
Yes you can! The only difference is that I can only post materials packs in the UK, so you will have to contact the artist to receive a full list of what you need to take part. Jessica is a big believer on reusing and using simple, accessible materials so she is very happy to offer alternative suggestions and help to ensure you have everything you need to enjoy the course.
If you can yes please! However I understand this does not work for everyone, and therefore if you would like to do the workshop in your own time, please purchase the course and contact the artist to let her know you are watching in your own time via the recording.
