Forest School CPD - Wet Weather Fires and Group Shelters
Description
Don't let the weather get you down! Spend the day learning how to master fire lighting in any weather and how to deploy a group shelter quickly when you start to feel those spots of rain. This course will give forest school practitioners confidence in their ability to run sessions in adverse weather conditions, focusing on fire lighting and erecting large tarp shelters. Learn how to make dry kindling in wet environments and how to reduce smoke from fires in wet conditions. The afternoon will be spent looking at tarp shelters and how we can use them more effectively in a forest school setting. Enjoy meeting other likeminded people and lunch around the fire.
