Plus, you'll learn the ins and outs of seaming with either a linker or darning needle. Ready to dive into the wonderful world of knitting? Secure your spot now – we can't wait to knit alongside you! A couple of important notes for attendees: Access: Ahoy Dare HQ is up one flight of stairs with no lift. So there is no access for wheelchair users. Please contact us if you require wheelchair access or have any issues with stairs and we can look at relocating. Refund Policy: Unfortunately, refunds cannot be provided for workshop cancellations. However, attendees are welcome to transfer their spot to a friend or family member by emailing me. Safety: Attendees are responsible for their own safety, as the workshops are conducted in a working studio environment with potentially sharp tools. Ahoy Dare was launched in 2021 by founder Liz Linfield, who was determined to design unique, custom-made pieces not available from any other company. Driven by her love for vintage knitting machines and streetwear fashion, she set out on a mission to produce distinctive slow fashion garments that would make wearers stand apart. Using vintage knitting machines combined with modern tech, she creates funky and eccentric knitted patterns found nowhere else. Formerly an in-house IT trainer, Liz now draws on her teaching experience and knitting machine expertise to offer specially tailored workshops for Ahoy Dare patrons.
