Glassblowing with Jon Lewis for three - day course

Description

Three person glass blowing course for beginners. We will start gently by just making small marbles/pebbles, gathering glass from the furnace and we will progress quickly through the day to making intricate and colourful paperweights and then blown baubles and we finish the day making a coloured glass vase or glass. Everything you make will have to cool down slowly in the kiln overnight, but can be collected at a later date or I can post the glass to you. I will provide hot drinks and snacks all day and we will have veg pizzas cooked in the kiln at 500 degrees for lunch. The location is a picturesque old flour mill on the river Stort just outside of Harlow.
