"This was a brilliant day fun-filled with lots of instruction along the way so that I learnt tempering, making truffles, filling chocolates, making edible decorations and roses, piping techniques and making several eggs from scratch. There were plenty of tasting opportunities! Yolanda and John kept the tea and coffee flowing and lunch was first class and plenty of it, catering for vegetarian and gluten free dietary needs. Highly recommend this company, teachers are responsible, well informed, helpful and professional."

"From the moment I first enquires about the course Yolanda was very attentive and helpful, and the moment we arrived all expectations were exceeded, Yolanda and John were so welcoming and friendly and really added to the day. We arrived the night before and stayed in the cabin which was lovely so many extra touches such as having tea coffee mike bread not to mention the face masks and chocolates on the beds. A wonderful course we could not believe the amount covered in the day and went home with a filled hamper of Christmas foodie treats all which we were able to decorate and package. Such a relaxing atmosphere and the studio space was perfect. Two very talented people who were love what they do. Johns lunch was something else and the offering of drinks throughout the day was great. I will definitely be returning to future courses and make a weekend of it. Many thanks for a great day."

The instruction, even for a complete novice was excellent. The class size was small and the facilities excellent with all materials and tools provided as well as refreshments, a lovely lunch and even cake in the afternoon. I have no hesitation in recommending this course to anyone wishing to learn silver clay crafting."

"Had a great day learning the art of tempering and moulding chocolate. I came home with an assortment of professional looking bars, chocolate lollies and mice, truffles and even a chocolate bowl and lid. All materials and tools were provided as well as refreshments, a delicious lunch and even a glass of bubbly. The studio facilities are excellent and Yolanda is very knowledgable about the subject. I would thoroughly recommend this course."

"I can't praise our teacher Yolanda enough, I had no previous experience but this didn't matter at all she went through the process thoroughly sharing her knowledge. The studio is an Aladins cave of tools and treasures all available for use during the day. We enjoyed lovely hospitality, a splendid lunch and I would thoroughly recommend this course. It has certainly inspired me to go on and explore further."

"I have been to many courses over the years but this ranks as one of, if not the best, I have experienced. Yolanda and John were very welcoming and generous hosts. Yolanda was an excellent tutor and the day was packed with exciting Christmas themed food to make. The lunch was also delicious and had the choice of drinks all day. Definitely on my wish list to return and try another of Yolanda courses. The whole day was excellent from beginning to end."

"This course was brilliant from beginning to end. We stayed in the hosts on site accommodation which was amazing and then started our course bright and early. We made a huge selection of Christmas foods led by Yolanda and couldn’t believe the vast amount of delicious bits we left with. If her attentive and friendly teaching wasn’t enough we were fed and watered with delicious food and beverages all day by her lovely partner. I couldn’t recommend these people or course enough and will definitely be returning to learn some more skills... and eat some more grub. Thank you again for a wonderful addition to our family Xmas tradition. Natalie"

"I can’t recommend this copper foil course highly enough.Not only do you get excellent tuition but all materials are included in the price and I knowYolanda won’t let me leave with a disappointing piece of work. Everyone is really friendly and welcoming and so it is really quite motivating. I am so pleased I found this course andI am looking forward to trying stained and fused glass in the future. "Just had the most fabulous Sunday - tempering chocolate and making bars, truffles, lollies etc. Yolanda was brilliant with us and I left knowing I really could do this at home as most equipment I have in my kitchen (except for the thermometers, but thanks to Jonathan’s research I now know where to get hold of one). A lovely couple who run a well planned day with generous hospitality thrown in. Thanks again guys for a great time."

On arriving on my first week I was astounded to see the quality of work from other beginners and thought that I was in the wrong class. However the patience and one to one teaching from Yolanda, the friendly help from others in the class made me return. I look forward to my Monday class and the quality of teaching, plentiful hot drinks and biscuits makes my day. Everything is supplied and Yolanda ensures that we even get to choose our glass. "I thoroughly enjoyed this one day course. A small group of us, who were made to feel very welcome by both Yolanda and John. Although a bit daunting to begin with (as with anything new), Yolanda soon put us at ease with her very relaxed manner and was a very good & thorough teacher. The room, where we were working, was very light and airy. As all materials and equipment that we required to create our piece of stained glass were provided, the cost of the course was extremely good value. A very impressive lunch, afternoon tea and cake plus hot/cold drinks throughout the day, was exceptional. I am certainly looking forward to my next course! See you both in December."

"I really enjoyed the relaxed feel to the course, from the off we were all made to feel very welcome and in more than capable hands. The studio was very bright and comfortable, with plenty of space and had everything we required for the course. This was all included in the cost. Yolanda, our tutor was very clear and concise about all aspects of what we could expect to achieve from the day. There was plenty of one to one tuition and help when required as well as lots of good advice. Lunch and afternoon tea were very impressive."
