"I attended the 2-day paper decoupage course. It was a great couple of days, and I came away with one finished mirror, and partially finished side table, and lots of ideas for other projects. Sarah was very welcoming and is so knowledgeable and generous with her knowledge - and demoed and explained everything really clearly. We were provided with everything we needed in the cozy workshop and a lovely rural location. Lunch was delicious and hot drinks and cold water on tap were very welcome. I'm now looking at what other workshops I can do next. Would highly recommend."

"A thoroughly enjoyable two days! Beautiful paints to choose from, lovely environment, great lunch provided (including gluten free for me!) and great tuition and encouragement from Sarah. More pleased with my finished piece than I ever expected to be (I don't generally consider myself to be a very creative person!). Am feeling confident to experiment with other pieces at home with the knowledge I've gained and the confidence Sarah has given me. Thank you so much."

"This course has changed my life. Try stopping me upcycling everything I can get my hands on. I so enjoyed the course and the relaxed but thorough teaching style with Sarah who was friendly, supportive, informative, informed, talented, inspirational and committed to making us get the most out of the course, just so encouraging. I loved the studio. The environment was bright and spacious and Covid safe and we also were informed about general health and safety. The equipment was good and well thought through and Sarah was generous in supplementing us with odds bits and pieces that we needed. Also we picked up so many tips along the way. Arriving as a total beginner I have learnt so much that I am raring to get to the next level and perhaps do a fabric upcycling course (this was the wallpaper one) or one of the other courses she will be running. Sarah is wonderfully talented and a very good teacher, but more than that she has a sparkly way of being and extraordinary interpersonal skills that add the extra dimension. Cannot recommend this well-priced course highly enough."

"Sarah is an excellent tutor and I really enjoyed the course. I had booked to go on the 2 day course but Covid-19 put an end to this so when Sarah suggested trialing the online option I was delighted. The interactive online sessions were great and there was just the right amount of time between sessions to put everything into practice and be ready for the next session (everything dry and ready to go) without feeling pressurized. Obviously, you need to make sure you have the right materials but Sarah gave the list out in good time with plenty of suggested alternatives in case they weren’t available and it also meant I have everything ready to do my next piece. Sarah’s style is creative and supportive and I’m booked onto another workshop when we can meet in person and learn more techniques. I would thoroughly recommend the workshop."

"I attended the 2 days upcycling course with Sarah this week. I’m so pleased I took the plunge. I not a typically crafty person. I’ve always loved the idea of being creative but have lacked the confidence to give it a go. This course is for everyone. Sarah sets you at ease and explains everything in a calm and clear way. Sarah creates a relaxed atmosphere that takes any stresses or nervousness away. I’ve come away with a wonderful bedside table and the confidence to upcycle the other one at home on my own. It was especially enjoyable to see some of Sarah’s previous projects and having the chance to chat with her and the other ladies on the course. A fun and enjoyable couple of days!"

The tutor, Sarah, was absolutely fantastic, she answered all my silly questions and didn't make me feel stupid for not knowing the answers. "This course was brilliant. Sarah our tutor was professional, friendly and extremely knowledgeable. She was easy to talk to and didn’t mind how many questions you asked her. I went with two friends and we all three had a great time and were very pleased with our pieces of furniture we took home. Sarah also does commissions and sells her furniture on Etsy. I will definitely be keeping an eye on it. Overall a brilliant course for the money. Two lovely days of fun and learning with great people, and she also gave us two great lunches. I have since done two more pieces of furniture. I would definitely recommend this course."

"This was a great introductory course to revamping furniture. I took my sister for her birthday and we spent two days together and Sarah guided us along the way to revamping our furniture pieces. I turned a sewing trolly into a drinks trolly and my sister turned some drawers into a very lovely piece of furniture to put her sewing bits in. It was fun and enjoyable and would definitely recommend to new revamp novices."
