"We loved this class. A really fun activity, well organised and taught by a lovely teacher who had even baked goodies for us.
Even with no prior experience we produced felting that we were really pleased with.
It was a very relaxed, enjoyable way to spend a Saturday morning. I’d definitely recommend and would book to do it again.

"I really enjoyed this class. It was my first time wet felting and Heather struck a great balance between explaining the process and guiding us through while allowing us to learn by doing. I feel like I have a good basis for continuing with my own projects. Heather was also really welcoming and fun to chat to. She even threw in a bit of felting history. A really fun and pleasant learning experience."
"A very relaxing and rewarding few hours. Heather is a great host and fantastic explainer of the process from beginning to end. We enjoyed the experience and would recommend to others as a creative introduction to wet felting."
"Spent a really lovely morning with my friend learning how to do 2-D felting. It was a great experience, Heather gave us really detailed instructions and helped us to create our pieces which came out really beautifully. She was very friendly and provided us with some very tasty refreshments as well. It was a really positive experience and really fun to learn a new skill and take away our felt piece at the end. "
"I had a great time making a lovely felt picture to take home. As an absolute beginner I was really pleased with the way Heather guided me through the process and taught the techniques. My friend and I had a lovely and creative afternoon. special mention goes to the delicious homemade cake which Heather kindly made using gluten free flour. "
"We did Heather's abstract pre felt course. I wasn't really sure what to expect and wasn't disappointed. We both came away with a lovely decorative piece of felted wool to frame. Heather explained the process to us and gave us lots of ideas as to what would work. She had a lovely range of merino wool colours all of wonderful quality. A lovely way to spend the afternoon and a delicious cake and cups of tea thrown in!"
"Laura and Barbara had a ball. They were both delighted with what they made and what they learnt about the processes. They had a good day out and felt they had been made very welcome. So sorry I was ill and missed the course.

"I really enjoyed this course and highly recommend it. Heather was very encouraging and explained really clearly what to do. The materials she made available to us were very high quality and with lots of choice. It was a wonderful way to spend 2 hours! I was delighted with art work I made - I would never have thought I could do anything like that. And the cake was delicious too! "
"I took the class with Heather last Saturday and found it to be very enjoyable and useful. She is an excellent teacher, keeping very much to the subject and patiently helping us with the details. Our equipment was laid out in a way that made it easy to use. Alongside this Heather had made delicious cakes, and provided music that gave the session a relaxing ambience. Directions to the workshop were clear so it was easy for me to find. I would recommend a workshop with Heather, and am inspired to continue with wet felting."
"Had an excellent and enjoyable afternoon with Heather teaching us about 3D felting. Heather explained everything clearly and in detail. She helped us understand the reasons behind our actions and the properties of wool and how they can affect the end results. We all came away with beautiful felted vessels which will be proudly displayed. I will definitely continue to experiment on my own and mix wet felting techniques with needle felting and embroidery. Highly recommend this course."
"This class was excellent and surpassed all of my expectations. Neither myself or my mum had ever done any felting before and we aren’t particularly artistically inclined. Heather was an excellent teacher and even made cake for us! She talked us through the process of creating the felt as we went, and provided us with everything we needed and every colour of felt under the sun. We were both able to produce a piece of felt that we were happy with thanks to heathers tuition and now have the building blocks to be able to create more. We may book on to the course again, and we would recommend the course to anyone!"
"Wonderful day! Heather is a very welcoming and warm host and bakes cakes that are delicious. All the teas are offered all day long and she gives so much help and information whilst still letting you do your own thing. Definitely came away with the knowledge and excitement to felt more on my own. Which is exactly what you want when you learn a new skill!"
"Fantastic workshop. Helen is a great host and teacher. Friendly and informative. The morning session flew by and yet we all came away with very successful felt ‘paintings’. I would love to do a follow on session or course to develop my skill."
"Absolutely loved Heather’s tabletop 3D wet felting workshop. The whole experience from start and finish was serene and inspirational. Heather is a very knowledgeable teacher with a really calm and clear approach. In addition to teaching us how to felt, she also baked a delicious almond chocolate cake - and flapjacks too - and allowed the workshop to run over time so we could all get to the finish line with our pieces. Thank you Heather! :)"
"I had such fun making my own felted mistletoe and will keep it as a festive decoration for years to come!!
The kit was super straight forward and very well instructed. Heather is a great teacher and has clearly thought out the process to make it a fun and engaging.
Highly recommend for some festive fun with a beautiful decoration to take home after."
"Lovely way to spend an afternoon. My Mistletoe turned out well and Heather's instructions were very straightforward to make sure we were all on course to produce the best Mistletoe we could. Lovely way to be sociable without too much pressure as everyone concentrates on their crafting with tea and coffee and brownies. Would definitely recommend."
"The Mistletoe making course was a great Christmas activity for anyone who loves arts and crafts.
There was very clear step by step explanations that allowed participants to work at their own pace which made a lovely and calm workspace. I particularly love the feeling of watching what you are making develop and transform into something new as you go through the different stages and start to bring it together - some wires into a stick, into a branch and eventually into a plant.
I would definitely recommend taking this course as not only was it fun but there is something very rewarding and special about making your own Christmas decorations."
"I really enjoyed making the mistletoe and am really pleased with the end result. I found the process of making very therapeutic and calming and the instructions were clear and paced right for all in the group. I was really pleased with what I managed to achieve and think it looks professional. The whole afternoon was fun and had the right Christmas spirit. I would definitely do it again."
"What a lovely way to spend a Saturday. Heather is so knowledgeable and easily adapted to teaching a complete novice (me) and someone who had felted several times before. I created two pieces that I still can't quite believe I made myself. Covid restrictions were careful considered. Plentiful cups of tea were supplied and the homemade cake delicious!!"
"I attended this wet felt class and I enjoyed it a lot! Heather was very friendly and welcoming! She’s clearly very talented and knowledgeable about the craft and gave clear instructions/tips when teaching me about it! I would definitely attend another class!"
"I have enjoyed the felting online course very much and am pleased with my first pebble. The instructions in the video show a great depth of knowledge, they are very detailed; so it's easy to follow & get a good result.
This course has expanded my creative practice & inspired me to explore felting further in other creative formats. I can definitely recommend to all and especially people who want to try different materials & learn new techniques."
