"I had a lovely day on this course and learned so much about the art of lino printing. I was an absolute beginner but felt very well supported by Olivia, with a mixture of really clear and well illustrated whole group teaching, and plenty of one to one time. Olivia was really positive, encouraging and supportive. Taking place during a cold snap, it wasn't the warmest in the studio, despite the log burning stove but the welcome was warm, there was ongoing hot drinks available, blankets too! All the materials and equipment were laid out on the tables ready to go, and plenty of cards and pictures to inspire ideas. I loved the peace of the day, everyone busy working, and it was nice to have music on sometimes too. No pressure to leave on the dot, Olivia was very relaxed about giving us time to finish. Would definitely do the course again."

"A thoroughly enjoyable day, structured so that even complete beginners like me would have the satisfaction of taking home a finished piece. Lovely studio complete with cosy woodburner. My main worry had been preparation of the image, but lots of time and individual attention was devoted to this so that the process became much less daunting. You don't have to be brilliant at drawing, and little slips or inaccuracies at the cutting stage don't usually matter, and can actually add to the charm of the finished image. It was thrilling to see the image in print for the first time! This could get addictive... I've already ordered a set of materials and will definitely be back once I've had some practice at home!"

"I had had a little experience of lino cutting when I went on a one day session with Olivia. She was the most enthusiastic and informative teacher, always positive and seemingly also having all the answers! I wanted to know how to successfully register two different colours and I was glad to have the experience of doing this while Olivia was always hovering in the background. Now I want to spend some time experimenting myself before I go back for another day with another set of questions. The other "students" on the course were really friendly and it was so interesting to see our different styles and approaches, and just great to spend a whole day doing something I really enjoy. "I thoroughly enjoyed my lino printing day with Olivia. The day was beautifully crafted, with a detailed introduction to the processes. There was plenty of resource material available but some of us had brought along suitable images to use which were traced onto the lino. We were encouraged to practise with the tools before tacking our piece. Olivia was on hand to answer questions and give advice all through the day. There was a relaxed and friendly atmosphere with tea, coffee and refreshments readily available. After lunch we started the printing with different papers and colours to hand. We were all able to finish the day with a number of successful prints and a desire to carry on learning more about the skills involved. I would thoroughly recommend one or if possible two days to really immerse yourself into the course under the excellent tutelage of Olivia."
