"I have been wanting to do a candle making course for a while and found this course in Bexley with Paula as the host. She was very friendly and welcoming, as the course is at her home. I have learnt so much from this course and feel much more confident knowing how to make a good and safe candle. Paula gave us a pack to take home which included information for selling candles as well as suppliers lists and how to make the candles we had made on the course. I had a great day and it was nice to meet new people as well. The afternoon tea was lovely and Paula was more than happy to keep making us all tea, coffees etc through out the course. I will definitely recommend this course to anyone who wanted to learn about candles. I am looking forward to starting my journey in candle making. :)"

"This is the second of Paula's courses I have attended (the first was the soap making which I really enjoyed). Paula is an excellent host and teacher. The candle making process was explained really well with lots of information re safety, regulations, suppliers etc given. I really enjoyed making the candles to take home, they look and smell beautiful. Am now looking forward to making my own soy candles. I totally recommend Paula's courses 100%."

"My daughter and I attended Paula's candle making course recently as we both love candles and thought it would be a nice thing to do. What a lovely way to spend 4 hours on a Saturday! Paula provided all of the equipment, ingredients and plenty of information plus lots of tips for making the perfect candle. The day was well paced and relaxed and the afternoon tea was wonderful! I would definitely recommend Paula and this course and look forward to attending other workshops in the future."

"I went with a friend to this course and we had a fantastic time. Paula is lovely and very knowledgeable. The workshop covered soap making from start to finish, product safety legislation, using essential oils, registrations etc. I'm looking forward to using the soaps we made once they finish curing. I now feel confident enough to start making soaps myself at home and in the future would like to set up my own small business using the knowledge and information I got from Paula. "I was really looking forward to this course once I booked; it was even better than I could have dreamt. I had a wonderful day and learnt so much. This course stands out, as not only do you make soaps but Paula goes through the whole process from start to finish and more. The course is held in Paula's beautiful house and she is a wonderful host and teacher; so enthusiastic and helpful. The lunch/afternoon tea provided was lovely and homemade (very impressed with the scones!). Paula was very thorough with her teaching of the soap making process so if you want to carry on at home, you can do so safely. She went through the properties of all the oils that can be used and when/how you might want to adjust her recipe. She also covered legislation around product safety, using essential oils, registrations etc. So if you are wanting to sell your own soaps you have a great starting point. Love, love, loved it!"

She went through all the essential information on how to make cold press soaps from home and including information on the legal compliance for selling your soaps. The class consisted of a small group, which allowed us to ask Paula any questions that we had. The fresh afternoon tea was amazing, tasty sandwiches and scones. I made 8 lovely soaps and since the class I've been twitching to do more. I would definitely recommend this course"

"My husband and I attended the soap making workshop and thoroughly enjoyed it! Paula is lovely. She is friendly, approachable and extremely knowledgeable and it felt like a real privilege to learn as much as we did from her. On our arrival we were offered some refreshments and then sat around the table while Paula provided us with detailed notes and explained some of the theory, processes and science behind soap making. Then it was time to get stuck in and have a go at making our own soap, which was so much fun! While we waited for our finished soap to harden enough to be able to take home, we were treated to a wonderful afternoon tea and had the chance to ask Paula further questions. I would highly recommend Paula's soap making workshop!"

"I loved, loved, loved the soap making workshop it was beyond my expectation!! I didn’t know what to expect from either workshop, but I was not disappointed. The direction and explanation I received from Paula showed me how to make a much smoother and creamier natural soap. Paula is an extremely knowledgeable teacher about the research behind different natural soap products, ingredients, and processes. While the workshop was extremely informative, I didn't feel bombarded with new information and the tone was very relaxed. Paula is also extremely kind, personable, and approachable, her class size is small which made the workshop an even better experience. Overall, Paula's a knowledgeable soap maker who really understands the chemist and science of soap productive. It's worth it taking her workshop and I highly recommend her!!
