"You are met by Denny with coffee and home made cake. Delicious. You first do a sample to get a feel for it. Then on to your project. Denny is an amazing tutor. Patient, informative and helpful. "We had the best day doing this workshop!! Denny is an amazing teacher and host, and makes excellent vegan gluten free fudge cake too! :-) Everything was so well explained and we got to practice cutting and laying our tiles (and grouting our artwork when the glue was dry) by making coasters before starting our main pieces. It was a really relaxing time; we found mosaic-ing to be a very calming, mindful activity! We got comprehensive notes to take home, plus some extra materials so we could finish off our pieces at home - we’re already looking online to order our own tools and tiles to create more mosaics! We also loved meeting beautiful Daisy the dog. Highly recommend this course!"

"Absolutely fantastic, I loved every minute and learned more than enough to get me started to make some of my own pieces. Denni was so patient and knowledgeable and you couldn't help but be inspired by her many amazing pieces around the house, my mind was an explosion of ideas for that day and for the future. We were given very useful, comprehensive notes and some tiles to take away with us and Denni gave me couple of little bits I liked on the day too. The cake was delicious and ensured we took a couple of small breaks! Mosaicking is highly addictive, when you start you do not want to stop, that is definitely true! Such a good value course in every respect, I will go back to learn more, in the meantime, anyone reading this should just book a place on Denni's course, you will not be disappointed, it is the best money I have spent on something for myself. Enjoy!"

"My friend Rebecca and I had a wonderful day at the Beginners Mosaic Workshop and came away with two surprisingly professional looking pieces....a practice coaster and individual wall art in a frame. We were both delighted! Denny is warm, friendly and calm. She immediately put us at ease and treated us to a very informative day. She has a huge variety of materials to choose from and we left with skills and confidence to have another go at mosaic at home. The tea/coffee and home made cake was a bonus! "Hi. Attended the beginners course last Tuesday 24/01/23. I had been bought the course by my children for my birthday. Fantastic gift. Group of 4. Very friendly. Denny was very helpful and gave clear and great instruction. I am very happy with my pieces made which make me smile as I look at them. Yet to hang the main one. Have already suggested that they may like to buy me some tools...Hope to visit again. Great fun. Helen PS lovely cake and coffee too. xx."

"Lovely relaxed beginners mosaic course. I was one of 4 students. Good range of materials to create a practice piece and a linear mosaic. Denny gave helpful and relaxed instruction, and well as supplying great coffee and cake! I may sign up for the intermediate course! "

"Denny is an excellent tutor and a very welcoming host. Lots of coffee, homemade cake and patience all day long. The course was informative and instructive with an extensive (amazing) supply of materials available enabling us to create an art piece to be proud of. We were given thorough notes to take away with our creations. I highly recommend this course but be careful Denny will definitely pass on the mosaic bug so you won’t want to stop!! "

"As my email/message was not read properly, I wasnt prepared, and had difficulty finding the place. Once contacted, Denny came out to meet me, and was welcoming and helpful. I enjoyed assembling pieces and learning mo re about the wonders of mosiacs. Friendly, group with nice treats, lovely works displayed and a valuable reintroduction to creative possibilities."

Denny was very patient and informative, sharing lots of tips and examples of her excellent work. Working in a small group was friendly and intimate with plenty of opportunity to ask questions, share ideas and offer encouragement, along with a few laughs.
