"A thoroughly absorbing workshop. I had never worked with wool before and I had not appreciated what a flexible medium it is. Using fibres in a creative landscape and blending the colours was both both exciting and refreshing with an amazing and colourful outcome. "I thought the workshop was therapeutic. I enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. Raya proved to be a great host providing us with tea, coffee and cakes all day. It was great to recreate a holiday picture I took of the Devon landscape where I used to go on holiday. Raya showed me how to create this picture using merino wool and other fibres. I was amazed that using Raya's techniques I could create a wool painting. I am so proud of my work and it decorates the kitchen wall in my house. Raya Brown is a professional teacher with lots of skills and experience. I would recommend this course to anyone. I would not class myself as an artistic person but this workshop gave me new confidence to continue with my artistic side. Natella"

"I am so pleased to have found Magic Wool Studio where the artist Raya Brown teaches a range of skills and crafts. Raya is using her professionalism to guide you through different stages of creating an art work. I was particularly impressed by her knowledge of composition and colour scheme which she passes on to her students at workshops. I feel that I learnt so much within a 6 hour workshop. I am fascinated by wool painting technique and so happy with my wool picture. I'm going to attend more workshops especially felt making classes. I would recommend Raya's classes to anyone. They are suitable for absolute beginners as well as experienced artists."
