"My wife and I spent a wonderful afternoon with Maddie. We took our own frame, in which we intend to insert a mirror and made a lovely beach themed mosaic. Maddie was accommodating and made us feel very welcome. She guided us through the project, but gave us freedom to unleash our creativity! I couldn’t recommend her enough."

"We had an amazing experience and Maddie was fantastic! She went through all the basics and i was really surprised when we went home with some great little pieces. She shared her wealth of knowledge, templates and large stock of materials. We now can't walk into an antique store without buying some plates for future designs. "Maddie provided an excellent introduction to mosaic in her beatiful studio near St Davids. She invited me to work on a small piece first using a relatively simple technique and then to try a bigger project of my own choosing. Her light and spacious studio is brimming with a huge variety of materials in every colour, shape and form and with the equipment needed to shape them to fit your design. She is attentive, informative and encouraging; adapting her teaching to the individuals skills and needs. Being surrounded by her own varied mosaics and beautiful Pembrokeshire countryside provided inspiration and peace to work in. Overall I had a fantastic day, came away with some nice pieces and lots of ideas. Materials, tea and coffee were all included so it was also very good value for money. I will definitely go again."

"We decided to opt for an alternative birthday party for our 7 year old daughter and her friends. Maddie came highly recommended by a friend and needless to say we were not disappointed, as a matter of fact everyone who attended -both children and parents - had a fabulous time. We were particularly impressed by Maddie's ability to work with each and every individual child at their own pace, making sure that everyone went home with at least a couple of beautiful mosaic creations which I am sure they will cherish and will provide a wonderful reminder of a memorable day! Thank you Maddie!"

"Enjoyed a wonderful day with Maddie in her beautiful workshop in the Pembrokeshire countryside. Really relaxing and fun day..created two mosaics and was taught different cutting techniques and how to grout when finished. Lunch was a tasty homemade soup. The day went by so quickly..too quickly for my liking. Loved every minute of the day and would definately recommend it to anyone."

Maddie ran different mosaic sessions for both adults and children and everyone who took part came away absolutely buzzing with the skills they had learnt and a beautiful mosaic to take home too! The range of materials provided was fantastic and the workshop was set up to allow you to progress at what ever speed suited you. Maddie was helpful, kind, extremely patient and professional and as a participant in one of her workshops myself, it was an absolute pleasure to be part of."

"I have wanted to try mosaics for years and now I have more time .Today at Maddies fantastic studio, exceeded all my expectations .She was so friendly,knowledgable,helpful and encouraging , the range of mosaics and equipment is very impressive .The tomato soup was excellent at lunchtime.I went home at the end of a great day thrilled to bits with my mosaics and my husband was also very impressed by my work .I would like to go once a month , maybe I could bring my milkchurns ? "A good way to spend a morning while on holiday in St Davids. My daughter and I had a lovely morning all to ourselves (leaving the rest of the family behind) producing an owl, an elephant, a garden plaque and a mirror. Maddie was very welcoming and explained things well. There was no rush to finish in the two hours. Her studio is amazing with so much to choose from to make the mosaics. Highly recommend."

"I attended a workship with Maddie whilst on holiday. She very kindly fitted me in at short notice and i had a wonderful few hours away from the family doing something just for me. Maddie was helpful, encouraging and knowledgable. The experience was fab and I found Maddie had a great approach of being on hand to help when needed but able to quietly let me just work my way through. I created a mirror which I am very pleased with, I didnt think I still had it in ne. So thanks Maddie...I loved it. ☺Julia."

"We were given a voucher for a two hour workshop as a wedding present and what a fabulous present it was. We had a really lovely time and it was great to be able to do a craft activity as a family (our daughters are 5 and 8). It was such a nice relaxed environment and we all enjoyed creating something together. Maddie was really helpful and encouraging and we ended up with a piece of mosiac art that we hope to keep forever (it even survived a five hour car journey). I can't recommend highly enough, we definitely hope to return."

"Fantastic day spent with Maddie and her friend Penny. My daughter and myself learnt a lot having no previous experience of mosaic before, we were taught how to cut tiles and glass, the difference between different surfaces, adhesives and grouting. As a result we both returned home with a lovely piece of work, pleased and relaxed after a great day. The workshop is in a beautiful rural retreat with a calming charm, just wish we lived a little closer to visit again. Don't forget to plug in the sat nav though ha ! Thank you for a lovely time you've inspired me ,I've been out to buy supplies already."
