"Lindsey's marvellous mosaic course certainly lives up to its name! In the first instance, Lindsey created a safe and calm atmosphere and ensured we were all safe and comfortable throughout the session, with correct PPE being worn at all times. I was extremely pleased with Lindsey's informative approach, as she shared her knowledge about the myriad tools and materials needed to create mosaics. There were lots of materials to choose from and Lindsey even sought out specific colours to suit our ideas and designs. I felt that Lindsey was able to guide and advise us in our mosaic-making journey, while never infringing on our creativity! I thoroughly enjoyed the day and am very proud of the artwork I created. Thank you Lindsey - I am already excited to make my next mosaic!"

"A relaxing wonderful day, Lindsey was well organised for the Corvid situation. Plenty of sanitiser and work places well spaced. The group had never done a mosaic before and we all went home with a finished work of art. Everything was fully explained with Lindsey giving plenty of individual help and guidance. I have already decided my next project and looking for a small table to refurbish. The whole day was amazing the amount of materials to try made you feel like a child in a sweet shop. A day to remember, thanks"

"What a great day, with a fantastic teacher who inspired us all. We were all beginners and we came away with lovely pieces of mosaics. Everything was covered from start to finish, and an excellent choice of materials to choose from. I will definitely be trying it out at home. It was all very relaxed, even with social distancing. "Just spent the day at Lindsey's studio for a one day mosaic course and what a wonderful time I've had. Lindsey is very welcoming, supportive, passes on her knowledge freely and gives you confidence to complete an amazing piece of art to take home. I now feel able to attempt a mosaic at home and have lots of ideas after seeing the large range of tiles, glass and beads available to use today. "Attended Lindsey’s one day workshop today and I have to say from the moment I walked into her workshop I was hooked. Because the class sizes are quite small there wasn’t any hanging around waiting to speak to her. Her knowledge, and the manner in which she passes it onto those attending the workshop is top notch. She offers a vast, varied and generous supply of materials too. I left at the end of the day carrying a mosaic trivet which I couldn’t wait to show off to my family. I’ve already put pictures of it on my social media pages and have had ‘wow’ comments from my friends and family all over the world. I think it’s safe to say that I’m hooked. I can’t recommend this workshop enough, I would do it again and again. I feel I need to comment on how ‘at ease’ Lindsey makes everybody feel, she encourages everybody and makes light work of fixing any situations that her pupils see as disasters. "What a lovely absorbing way to spend a day. Lyndsey is clearly very experienced in her craft and her work is inspiring. I had plenty of time to attempt and complete several coasters and Lyndsey's guidance and tutoring made sure that we could all make the most of the day, the time and the very varied materials. There were only 3 of us and it meant that we had as much attention as we needed as well as time to be inspired. In a relaxed atmosphere and surrounded by displays of Lindsay's own stunning mosaics, she will guide you through techniques, tools and tiles. You can decide your own design then choose which tiles to use from her large selection of shapes, colours and textures. You will also learn how to safely use nippers to create your own desired shapes. The small class size means you get lots of individual guidance and can work at your own pace. "The best therapy for a stress head like me, ever! From the minute I arrived until the moment I left, Lindsay packed the day with information, techniques, tips and the most valuable part, insight. I was fortunate enough to be able to discuss my pending project with her from start to finish and Lindsay took the time to walk me through the whole prep. procedure which was the information I was missing. I learned how to nip tiles, about the difference between old pottery and new tile and how they cut, how to make something from even the 'waste' scraps. I made a coaster and developed an eye for a pattern I had no idea I had! For me, the most important thing I took away from my day on this course, was a quiet confidence that I could now tackle my 'go big or go home' project. I had a brilliant time, the whole day! Oh, and as a single footnote, Lindsay's Mum makes the absolute best Bara Brith cake! A fabulous day spent with an absolutely fabulously talented lady and teacher! Thank you, Lindsay!"

"What a way to spend the day! I don’t know where the time went, the whole day was such an absorbing and enjoyable experience. Lindsey was an excellent tutor , explaining the techniques, the materials used and offering hints and tips on what works well - and not so well. I have lived in Shrewsbury for the majority of my life and had walked passed the blue doors thousands of times without realising that this beautiful courtyard existed behind them. I’m so glad I booked this course, I came away with two of my own mosaic creations and have now have gained the basic skills to go on and create more.
