"I am a complete novice, but Laura worked with me and encouraged me and at the end of a fantastic day I came away feeling very satisfied. This is an excellent course and I have no doubt that with Laura's expert guidance you would gain a lot whether novice or professional. Everything is provided for you to work in wide range of mediums and from the outset you are encouraged to try out techniques, to experiment and to "be brave". It's a wonderful day with an excellent teacher and guide, and represents tremendous value for money, I thoroughly recommend it."

"I had an amazing day working on a variety of techniques. Laura is an excellent teacher and an accomplished artist herself. She makes you feel very at ease and gives you a lot of pointers, without constricting your creativity. Her studio is the most amazing environment to paint in. Generous resources were readily available and the array of flowers we could choose to paint filled our space with heady fragrance. Lunch was great too. I couldn't have asked for more of the day. Definitely want to do a repeat,"

"I had a lovely creative day at the oil & acrylic painting workshop - Laura was very welcoming, friendly and a brilliant tutor - she was always available to give guidance but allowing us freedom too. Laura had prepared various still life setups for us in her gorgeous studio and went through the great range of materials available to us. It was a treat to see Laura's art and to paint in such a calm & beautiful spot overlooking the park. Lunch was great and I really appreciated Laura providing vegan/gluten free options for me. I was travelling by train so Laura offered to post my painting which was very kind; she also followed the course up with useful feedback and details on materials. I came away with a painting I'm proud of but most importantly the course inspired me to get painting again! Thank you Laura!"

"A great day . Laura was so hospitable ......needless to say talented . She had planned the day so well ...introducing us to different techniques and materials. After giving us the "tools " with which we could experiment and feel free to try some of our own ideas the time raced past . Laura constantly gave us encouragement and advice . We both produced some worthwhile work and came away with a great feeling of satisfaction and achievement . Thank you Laura for a lovely day ."

"Laura welcomed me into her beautiful home and studio space with generosity and kindness. Her tuition, personal guidance and encouragement made me almost believe I could be an artist, be it in my own home! Laura personalised the tuition and content to my needs and interest. She intruitively knew when to step in to assist and when to leave me to discover things for myself. The pace of the days was relaxed, yet productive. I walked away feeling more inspired, empowered and eager to continue to explore further creative work. I would definitely recommend Laura as a teacher and mentor and hope very much to return. "Time well spent. As a complete novice, last time I drew anything was at school, I was very nervous. By the end of the course I went straight out and bought the materials to continue to work on my new project. Laura is a great teacher and coach who takes time to understand individual needs. This understanding enabled me to start a project I would never have thought possible. Great course and teacher with plenty of media to explore and learn with in a relaxed, fun atmosphere. "So far, I have attended three of these oil painting days with Laura. I have encouraged friends, my daughter and my Mum to experience such days with Laura. My repeat attendance is probably sufficient testimony to the quality of the Oil Painting Day experience! It is so much more that simply coming away with a painting. Laura crafts the day to build your confidence, a-tune your eye and flex those artist muscles you never knew you had. Throughout the day, Laura shows her uncanny intuition by stepping in to support you just at the moments when you can't fathom how to make the right shade of green or capture the shape of a petal. An added bonus is the camaraderie that develops ing the studio as we all do joyous battle with our respective canvases. I heartily recommend everyone to join Laura Andrew in her Art Studio and discover your inner artist!"

"This course was so much fun!! I had such a brilliant relaxing time making my very own lino print! I now have handmade cards, prints and gift tags to give to family and friends. Laura Andrew is an excellent teacher of craft and was so encouraging . She is also a very talented artist!!!! I chose to make a lino print of my favourite goose!!! Delighted with the results."
