"Lovely meditative morning creating glass designs ready to be fired and fit into the lantern. Wendy was really knowledgeable and helpful when it came to applying the finishing touches before it went in the kiln. Can't wait to pick it up in 2 weeks."

"Thank you for a very special day, from finding the studio in its tranquil location, to meeting Wendy, spending the morning with a very talented tutor who was willing to share the techniques of her craft she had with you to achieve your very own work of art. A thoroughly enjoyable day, cannot wait to see the finished piece after the magic of the kiln has done its job and brought the colours alive. A day to treasure, felt so comfortable and relaxed, a real tonic for a little bit of time for one's self. Cannot recommend this course highly enough....book yourself a course..... Thank you Wendy....until the next time....regards Penny"

"My daughter and I did a half-day lantern-making workshop with Wendy and had a real blast. I've done this workshop before and was thrilled to have another go to try and improve my technique. It was my daughter's first try at fused glass work but as an illustrator she had a grand idea and pulled it off under Wendy's guidance and tuition. Wendy is always so patient and helpful which results in lovely finished pieces for everyone. The studio is in such a wonderful setting, you can't fail to feel 'restored' after a visit and the fact that you come away with something you've made yourself (even though you wait for a couple of weeks for it to be fired - that helps build the excitement!) just adds to your sense of well-being and achievement. I can't recommend Wendy's workshops highly enough - they are a tonic for the soul!"

"Definitely a five star experience. Learning to work with glass on our fused glass lantern course was really great. The setting, the studio, the relaxed and peaceful atmosphere all added to a wonderful morning. Wendy helped us to create lanterns that each of us that attended as a group are proud of. Thank you for a brilliant time. "

"Had a lovely, inspiring morning making a candle curve with Wendy, would thoroughly recommend. A beautiful, tranquil setting (though make sure you read the instructions carefully as to how to find it, allow yourself plenty of time to get there & don’t rely on your Sat nav!). Wendy is keen to make sure everyone has a great experience & we finished the morning feeling really inspired & pleased with our creations."

"I had a lovely morning with Wendy and two other lovely Ladies. Had a great time and look forward to seeing my finished work when it’s been in the kiln. Hopefully before the summers finished I will be doing a full day's workshop. Though the venue is not the easiest place to find, it is well worth it when you arrive: wonderful views and peaceful location. Thank you Wendy for your inspiration, help, knowledge and hospitality. See you again before too long. Caroline"

"Had a lovely day yesterday at Wendy's Fused Glass day course. What a fabulous studio and setting, overlooking the Tamar river, wow! Even though I've done a Stained Glass course i.e cutting glass, I have learnt so much more from Wendy, and now feel confident in using different tools. She gave us loads of advice and help. Thanks Wendy for our really great day and I'm really looking forward to seeing my finished project/picture once it's been fired. (p.s love your sheep)"

Glory of Glass responded:

"Thanks Linda - my pleasure; I enjoyed having you both at the Studio yesterday."

"Last Saturday I attended a whole day Glass Fusion Workshop lead by Wendy Bradberry at Glory of Glass. What a fabulous day! First the setting: a cosy, light studio overlooking the beautiful River Tamar. We were a small group of novices and we soon settled and gelled over cups of tea and coffee and enjoyed a morning of learning how to cut glass. Wendy competently instructed us in various techniques, showed us samples of previous work and then led us in creating our pieces of glass. We wait to receive our glasswork after it’s been through the kiln. It was a totally enjoyable day in good company. I’d highly recommend the workshop."

"Wendy is highly qualified, some of her work displayed in the workshop (a beautiful converted old barn) is stunning. Only after completing the course can you appreciate the skill Wendy has. She is a great teacher, quickly puts you at ease and teaches so many aspects of glass fusion. It is obvious that Wendy wants you to, not only enjoy your course, but also the whole experience. The converted barn is in the most beautiful secluded spot overlooking a lake, so serene and just adding to the whole experience. This was bought as a gift for me and it's the gift that just keeps giving, as the wall hanging I made, I will give to my daughter as a huge thank you for having had a wonderful day. Thank you Wendy for making the course so special. I will be back in the summer."

"My daughter and I attended an introduction to glass fusion course with Wendy in her beautiful studio. The studio has a wonderful setting, but is also spacious and really well organised with lovely examples of glass work displayed. Wendy has a warm personality and a generous nature, but also, very importantly, she is an excellent teacher. She is very thorough and we felt very safe with regard to Covid and also the use of equipment and methods of working. Once we had learned the technique of cutting glass, both in straight and curved lines we were given ideas to inspire us for our own piece of work. I think we were probably both quite ambitious in what we tried to do and it was lovely to have this freedom to have a go! Wendy explains things so well and is really encouraging too. We had such an enjoyable day! It was fun, relaxing and inspiring to be in such a lovely setting. Thank you Wendy for your expertise, generosity of time and materials. I thoroughly recommend this course and I hope to return."

"What an absolute joy the course was. My daughter and I have been to Wendy's a few times now and always come away happy. Our pieces are on display in our homes and looking at them is a reminder of enjoyable times. Wendy is so patient and provides ideas when 'brain freeze' occurs; we absolutely recommend spending time with Wendy at her lovely studio. Jane W and Sarah W"

"OMG, I did not know what to expect, and was a bit apprehensive, as I have never worked in this medium. I should not have worried, Wendy talked me through the safety procedures, and then demonstrated how to cut straight edges, and then onto onto curves, I also had a 'go' at grinding edges of glass. Looking through her extensive collections of photos, gave me the idea for my piece of wall handing, drawing it first, and then onto cutting the many colours of glass that i chose to use. Wendy was attentive, but let me work at my own pace. I was absolutely thrilled with the piece I carefully placed in the kiln, I cannot wait for the finished piece to arrive. Thank you Wendy for such an enjoyable day, I feel i learnt a lot in a relaxing, and beautiful studio with a first class tutor."

"What a Beautiful spot to spend the day crafting. Wendy our host was absolutely lovely and was exceptional in her tutoring of fused glass making. We were made very welcome and a cup of tea always available. We made a lovely piece of fused glass to be treasured. I would recommend Wendy and her classes to anyone and will certainly be returning at a later date."
