"Very enjoyable weekend learning the basics of landscape painting at Beaumaris, Anglesey. Each day was at a different location, sitting on pebble beaches, roughing a painting in situ in the morning then learning how to improve it in the studio in the afternoon. We were lucky with the weather. Being new to watercolour painting, the techniques Georgina taught for improving work or correcting errors got me over a hurdle. Gained a real love of Anglesey too. Thanks Georgina, hope to be back soon."

By the end, we had produced watercolour paintings that we were proud of and knew how to further improve, indeed; we're already painting new landscapes now we're back home. The course seemed to fly by and we're looking forward to a return visit in the future."

"This is a fantastic course if you really want to take your painting to the next level! I have had so many complements from this course - both the watercolours that I painted then but also ones that I have painted since and my painting colleagues say my painting has improved no end, that there is a clear difference!! People have said that I have very well captured the fragility of the flowers. Georgina will look at your painting technique and let you know if you can do things better - this is really useful as on many other courses they do not actually teach you how to paint! Also she will teach you how to compose the painting so that you do not get overwhelmed, especially useful when there are many flowers in the flower-head. I am so very pleased I did this course, it has taken me to the next stage in my watercolours - well worth going to north Wales for! Thank you Georgina!"

"A relaxed and pleasurable 2 days observing and painting flowers. Georgina helped us to look carefully. She shared her water colour techniques and offered us much encouragement. I came away inspired to practise and improve after seeing some of Georgia's own outstanding artworks. We had coffees, teas, cakes and biscuits and a lot of fun! After painting anemones in the studio, I've come home and tackled irises!"

"I have just attended Georgia's 2 day workshop on flower painting and found it delightful. She is a very relaxed and inspiring teacher and encouraged us to experiment with our style of painting. I would say this course is suitable for any level and encourages a looser style. Beaumaris, where this course was held, is a charming seaside town. All in all, a lovely weekend and highly recommended!"

"Just back from a wonderful weekend on this water colour course in beautiful Beaumaris. As a complete beginner I was nervous about the skills of my fellow attendees but thanks to Georgina’s teaching style I didn’t need to worry . Georgina is very generous with her time , very encouraging very patient. She ran the group well and created a wonderful warm environment in which to learn to paint. "Georgina provided a positive learning environment for a group of students with very different levels of experience. She was very good at instilling confidence in every member of the group. I was particularly impressed by the way she shared her thought processes whilst demonstrating techniques. Having had some experience of watercolour painting Georgina provided me with an opportunity to develop new skills and a more structured way of working. This enabled me to reassess past work and gave me ideas for how I might apply some of these techniques to my ceramics in the future."

"Just returned from a lovely weekend learning to paint flowers in watercolour. Georgina is an accomplished artist and experienced teacher who shared techniques and gave gentle encouragement. Her workshop is ideal, lots of light and space. She encouraged me to be less scared of making mistakes and to be bolder with my brush strokes. "I recently attended a weekend landscape painting workshop, run by Georgina. I have not painted in a quite a while and therefore was a little apprehensive about the course. I need not have worried; Georgina immediately makes you feel at ease. She has a way of gently getting you used to picking up your pencil and paintbrush again. We visited different places to do some live sketching and painting which was great to have that support around knowing how to begin to paint outside. Georgina's teaching style is very much centred around the individual and what I think is a particular strength of Georgina's is that you do not realise until after that you have been taught. She also very much lets you find your way but at the same time guides you through basic principles of using watercolours successfully. I had a lovely weekend in a spectacular setting and would recommend this course to anybody regardless of your experience or expertise."

"Georgina's speciality and favourite subject is flower painting with gouache and this was the subject of her most recent workshop which I attended. I have worked with her before and found her approach relaxed and informative, and have learned much from her. However, in the flower painting one, her way of teaching reflected her expertise. The simple, yet precise way I learned from her how to observe the relationship of different parts of plants and use this as a template for creating an accurate portrayal in a short space of time was an eye opener.
