"I really enjoyed the Furzie Needlefelting Course with Michelle. I loved the badger I made and am still thinking what a fun and totally informative course it was each time I look at my finished piece. Lots of help and guidance on hand from Michelle and the kit you get on arrival was FAB everything you need to begin needlefelting. I learned many skills and would definately reccomend this course to my friends."

"Really enjoyed my day learning to felt with Michelle. She was very patient and helpful ; the venue was great (Ledbury); and it was a relaxing and therapeutic day. My dog is a bit spooked by the "mini-me" that I created of him with Michelle's help - but I take that as a good sign..... Thankyou - and I hope to come along to another session and tackle a hare next time!"

"Great venue that matched the encouraging tuition, allowing twisted wire to more than resemble our chosen animals in a day, something I wasn't sure was doable when I began. Michelle's friendly relaxed approach and beautiful soft colourful wool kits provided ideal opportunity to meet like minded people to explore creativity. Superb day, not forgetting the lovely lunch and refreshments.... I'm sure I'll be doing more needlefelting. Thank you Michelle."

FURZIE reviewed: Furzie mobile needle-felting parties - sculpt with wool! Ideal for birthdays, hen parties and dinner parties

"I organised a felting workshop at my home in Derbyshire for a few friends and myself run by Michelle from Furzie. All of us we complete novices in the art and craft of needle felting. We were totally inspired by the examples of Michelle's work...true masterpieces...none of us thought or believed that we'd end up with a completed articles. Michelle guided us through many techniques from making our wire aperture to shaping it with hand felted wool and putting on the finishing touches...we were all amazed at the end of the day. We would highly recommend others to explore needle felting with Michelle. Thanks for a great day."

We all got to make what we wanted and go home with a nearly complete piece, with the necessary supplies and knowledge to finish it. "What a lovely way to spend the day with my Mum! It was a nice friendly group of people. The teacher was very good, she helped fixed our occasional mishaps and encouraged us all with lovely comments. The venue was excellent with lovely staff and delicious refreshments throughout the day. Neither me or Mum had ever done any felting and I was amazed at the results. Even my 14 year old daughter said WOW! She couldn't believe I had made it. She should have seen some of the others! Highly recommended. Thanks Michelle."

Barbara Saunderson reviewed: Needle Felting with FURZIE at The National Herb Centre, Banbury, Oxfordshire

"I had seen Michelle's felting at 'Art in the Park' in Leamington Spa last year and decided then that I would like to find out how to do it. I had done some wet felting before but wanted to learn more about needle felting. So when I discovered that she was holding a course at Warmington, which is not too far away from me, I took the opportunity to enrol, along with two of my friends. Michelle was an excellent teacher and explained everything well, helping us when we needed it and letting us try things for ourselves as well. All the materials that we needed were supplied and we all produced something that we were really pleased with. The venue was good, we had a very nice lunch and also tea and coffee. It was friendly and relaxed. We had a really good day and I thought it was very good value. I would certainly recommend it and will probably go on another of Michelle's course in future."
