"What a wonderful morning! Rebecca was knowledgeable, patient and friendly. The looms were set up to go so we had plenty of time to try different weave patterns and colours, but Rebecca also took us through the process of setting up a loom in detail, giving my fellow trainee and me enough confidence to have a go ourselves. I am not naturally very creative but found it easy to create a piece of fabric which wowed my friends and family! I am now looking to buy my own loom as I enjoyed it so much. If you are wondering whether to give this course a go or not, then dither no more, do it! Thanks Rebecca, it was fabulous xx"

"Jennifer is an excellent teacher. She is super organised and she keeps things moving at the right pace. Even though it can be a little overwhelming at first seeing the loom set up, things become clear just as they need to, so it makes it very suitable for absolute beginners. Before I knew it I was off to the races weaving up a storm. It's such a thrill to see the sample growing and to have such a lovely piece of fabric to take home. I am seriously hooked now. I've just booked in for the intermediate course with Rebecca next year."

"Rebecca's beginners workshop was a wonderful introduction to the craft. Just run with two of us on it so plenty of time to be guided and ask qiestions. Looms were already set up so we had time to actually weave but Rebecca gave us a clear explanation of the steps and work inbolved in setting up so we had a good idea of what that would involve if we wanted to do more in the future. The manual which R gave use was again very helpful and clear. I thoroughly enjoyed the morning, the 3 of us had a lovely chat and I came away with a food sampler and an urge to buy a loom! Also.good biscuits :-)"

"Rebecca's approach for a beginners workshop was perfect & absolutely what I had hoped for. She provided just enough detail regarding the how of weaving to bring me to the loom understanding, in a very satisfying way, the basics to give it a go. "I loved this course ! Rebecca is a calm and competent tutor who clearly explained each step of the processes before setting us to work. I had tried a bit of weaving in the past, learning from books, but it quickly became clear that a real-life teacher is a MUCH more effective way of learning. Rebecca's studio is in a very peaceful part of the Surrey countryside and after two days in the studio I left feeling relaxed and very pleased with the piece of fabric I had produced. I'd love to go back and would highly recommend."

"A very enjoyable introduction to weaving. Well-pitched for complete beginners, with the loom all ready and set up to start weaving straight away. Room to begin to experiment with patterns independently, but with only two in the class, plenty of support to improve technique and answer questions as you go along. Plenty of tea and biscuits add to the enjoyment!"
