"My daughter and I also did this workshop yesterday and we’re thrilled with the results. Lorna is such a lovely, positive and encouraging presence and a wonderful tutor. All the steps were very carefully explained and she was very willing to repeat or retrace a step of anyone needed it. It wasn’t t too difficult to achieve and the results were absolutely beautiful. Great fun and highly recommended!"

I would never have believed I could make such a gorgeous finished product in such a short 2 hour period, or that I could have learned so much in the process! Lorna was brilliant and patient with me, especially as due to technical issues I joined alittle late to the session, but she caught me up to the rest of the group in no time! "Lorna was very accommodating for us to ensure we had a personal and one to one lesson. She arranged a time to suit us as the initial session was overbooked. My daughter and I had a lovely experience with Crumps Barn Studio for her birthday. Lorna made sure we had all the equipment and explained everything so patiently even when it took me ages to make the bookbinders knot! Lorna is so knowledgeable and patient showing everything so clearly on the screen. We now have two lovely notebooks which we are challenging each other to fill over the coming months with sketches and thoughts. It has definitely started something"

"I'm so happy I joined this workshop! It was exactly what I was looking for, as a bookbinding beginner. We received the beautiful materials beforehand, and during the workshop the instructions were really clear, and our 'teacher' (Lorna) was really patient, helpful and nice. I was a bit nervous at the beginning, but she made me feel really comfortable (which is ideal for a calm and creative activity, such as this one!). Very happy with it, I would join Crumps Barn Studio workshops again, and I definitely recommend them to others. Very suitable for book lovers, notebook /stationery lovers, crafty, creative, curious people... or for anyone who enjoys new creative challenging but calm activities."

"My daughter and I totally enjoyed our 2 hour workshop, hand binding beautiful note books for the first time. Everything we needed was supplied in a parcel, all lovingly presented. The workshop was fun, easy to follow and informative, with traditional materials and methods being used, all clearly explained. We all worked together at a pace to ensure we all carried out the steps successfully. There was lovely chat between the group, with a calm inclusive feel. It was great to be able to craft with others. Absolute bonus having a fantastic, professional finished product to boast and show off in the end. I never thought about hand bounding a book and the process involved. To cover a book by hand is truly the best experience that any book lover would appreciate taking part in. This has been a great workshop and I totally recommend to others as a gift, to share crafting as I did with my daughter or as a treat for yourself. We love our special note books and have started to fill them with our best writing, doodles, secrets and sketches!"
