The projects made were returned quickly and very professionally packaged. "Thank you for an amazing glass fused course. Me and my partner had the most amazing day. Helen is an amazing teacher. We had plenty of time to practise. We definitely got our monies worth, we could make as much or as little as we wanted and Helen had all the tools and glass that we needed, we were spoilt for choice. One of my pieces had a little problem in the kiln but the amazing Helen allowed me to come back and remake this item. We were both so happy with what we had made. Helen is amazing, we will definitely be back and will be recommending Helen to our family and friends."

"Helen is a wonderful teacher, she allowed us to settle in first (we were a group of seven friends, and there was a lot of chat to start with!) Then she introduced us to everything we needed to know and let us go our own creative ways. It was amazing how we all produced quite different work. Helen gave us plenty of advice and suggestions whenever we needed them so that we felt supported and able to get the best out of our work without being dictated to. Everyone really enjoyed the day and we were thrilled with our final pieces. I would highly recommend this course, we will be going again!"

"It was the first time I have ever tried fused glass. I was very nervous when I went into the class but Helen immediately put me at my ease and clearly explained the process. Helen had brought items to show the finished products and encouraged us to experiment with all the lovely coloured glass she had brought along. She was available at each stage and gave me confidence. It was a lovely workshop - only 8 of us so individual attention. The pieces we had created were taken off by Helen for firing and were delivered a few days later - wonderful! So exciting to see the pieces. I will definitely be booking on another course!!!"

"We loved our glass workshop day with Helen! Booked for myself and my 16 year old daughter and we both had a wonderful time. Helen’s explanations were clear and she was very encouraging and helped us to create some lovely glass pieces. When our goodies arrived in the post we were thrilled…we had made so many items! I look at my funky soap dish every day and my daughter wears her necklace and receives so many compliments! Helen’s manner is very calm and the workshop was excellent value. "I have experienced the fused glass workshop run by Helen Cooper , twice and both times I have been amazed how calming , and spiritually uplifting I have found it. It is unusual for me to be in situations where I need to be creative and I discovered a new side to my character. I thoroughly enjoyed both sessions and I would highly recommend the experience to anyone. I enjoyed the first one so much that I asked a group of close friends to participate. They all enjoyed it very much and they were delighted with the items that they made. The atmosphere made by Helen is so encouraging and relaxed , her explanations are always very clear and the resources were beautifully arranged so that we could access them with ease. Lovely examples of her work were displayed , which was inspirational. Helen is a very experienced and talented teacher she took time to make sure everyone was achieving what they wanted and we had a very productive and peaceful day."

"I really wasn't sure of how I would get on at the Fused Glass Workshop. I'd never done anything like it before and have never felt that I'm the 'creative' type. Well, of course I thoroughly enjoyed it! From the moment I walked in, Helen created a very relaxed atmosphere. We were given clear advice on how to begin and Helen had lots of examples of things that we might like to try. We were encouraged to just have a go. I found a number of things that I wanted to make. She is a very skilled tutor who really listens, and tailors her advice according to what you need. I had a very relaxing day, escaped normal life for a few hours, and came away with pieces that I am proud of. I highly recommend it."

"Invited by a friend to join one of Helen's workshops, I was initially apprehensive as I do not consider myself to be creative. I need not of worried as Helen explained clearly how to develop the basic effects of glass fusion and we soon started on our own pieces. Through the course of the day Helen was on hand, encouraging and introducing other techniques to use, a knowledgeable and inspirational teacher. I am delighted with the pieces I made, all originals!! "What a fabulous way to switch off for a few hours! I did the 3hr course and was amazed at how much we were all able to make! Especially as we enjoyed a lovely lunch at Oscos within that time. Helen made glass fusing so accessible to all and her enthusiasm was infectious. Once our creative juices kicked in, there was no stopping us! I was over the moon with the results of my pendant necklace, coaster and soap dish. I'd love to do a full day's course to truly immerse myself."

"I went to one of Helen's 5-hour workshops and I'm so glad I did. I am a complete novice, but we were provided with a great array of materials and all the tools we needed to complete several items. Helen's a great teacher; helpful and encouraging. After quite a brief introduction on the main things to remember, we were off. We created what we wanted, to our own design, but she knew just when to step in with invaluable guidance. If you're thinking of doing one of Helen's workshops - go for it. Not only will you have an enjoyable afternoon, you'll have a lovely sense of achievement when you see your finished items."

"Book this course!! Helen is amazing, with endless patience and knowledge Helen supports everyone individually to make the best use of the huge selection of glass materials she provides. The day is well organised with a lovely atmosphere. After the course Helen takes the pieces you have made to her studio where she spends time carefully firing them and then either mounting or drilling to create a beautiful finish. Updates are given as your pieces move through the workshop processes and very quickly your glass is available for collection at the course venue or sent to you in the post. My wife and I have attended many very good workshops but Helen’s was outstanding!"

"I enjoyed every minute of this course; Helen is a friendly, approachable, positive and inspiring teacher with all the kit needed to create beautiful items. I made Christmas tree ornaments, pendants and a chicken (!) - so plenty of time and different materials to make lots of unique pieces, some of which were fired on the day to take home (the other items were delivered within a a few days). The venue was lovely and so was the lunch, cake and coffee. Great value for money. Thanks Helen!"

"I attended one of Helen's fused glass workshops at the Butterfly Effect Studio with two family members and a friend. It was a brilliant experience which we thoroughly enjoyed and we left very proud of all the things we had made.
