"I joined the watercolour class soon after leaving Southampton. I found I'd only bought 4 sheets of paper so I bought a kit excellent value! Purnima is a slave driver in the very best way as she ensures everyone works as hard as they think they are capable of. My first experience with watercolour was in 1962 as a first year student in architecture at Miami University in Oxford Ohio. Then in 1973, during a masters degree work at Yale University I did additional sketching and colour theory studies. art has always been integral to my architecture career.
