"Great creative day! Emma's tuition is easy to follow with tips on design, colours and techniques. So nice to have a small class so you can get all the help you need. Next time I would definitely spend more time on the design prior to coming so I could crack on quicker as I ran out of time a little. Would definitely like to do course in the future."

She was excellent at helping us plan in advance so we could make the most of our time together in her beautiful workshop. Emma’s instructions were clear and concise, and we were really happy with what we created. A wonderfully creative new experience and such a fun and relaxing way to spend a morning. "I attended a workshop with Emma and it was a thoroughly enjoyable day. Her teaching was clear, encouraging and thoughtful. We started with the design and learnt about different styles depending on how we wanted the final piece to look. We also learnt about cutting and placement. As the day progressed Emma helped us as we worked on our projects and we went home with a finished project. I will definitely book another course with Emma. Her own designs are on view in the workshop space and I’ve never seen any mosaic work like hers, it’s brilliant!"

"Excellent workshop. Emma was very attentive, explained each stage of the process and was there to assist when required. All the materials I needed top create a mosaic were available. I was a beginner and there were more experienced people in the workshop who clearly appreciated the ongoing support and use of the studio and resources. I would recommend this workshop and am likely to be back to explore the art of mosaic further."

"I had a fantastic creative day on a one day course with Emma at Abel Mosaics. Emma is great teacher, she provides lots of inspiration, guides you through what is possible, then patiently teaches you step by step how to create your own piece. Her stunning mosaic’s make it look easy, but I soon realised there is so much skill involved in her intricate work. The studio is well set up with a great selection of wonderful tiles in so many colours for us to use, all the tools and boards were supplied. The studio is lovely and light, looking out onto the garden. I will definitely come back and do another course with Emma, so much more to learn."

"I recently attended Emma's mosiac day with my mum. I can truly say that it was a fantastic day! The art form of mosaicing is fascinating & harder than you realise but with Emma's knowledge, guidance & skill (and patience!) you create a piece that you never thought you could when you started! I would absolutely recommend this day, you don't need any experience as Emma guides you through the whole process. Emma's art is stunning & you are mesmerised by the beautiful pieces adorning her workshop. So much inspiration. We will definitely be returning! "
