"Got the course as Christmas present from the wife and my dad came along as a present from my mam. All we could say all day was best Christmas present ever! We had an absolute blast all day and it’s so nice to get an insight into a true art. We enjoyed it so much we are booking onto the rams head poker course in September!"

"January 2019- We came to the taster day for our first ever blacksmithing experience and were so impressed with the course! Adrian, Debbie and Andy were so welcoming, the demonstrations were great and we got the opportunity to forge our own pieces to take home. We completed more forging than we expected and were so happy with our finished products! Homemade lunch, snacks and cake provided by Debbie made the experience a perfect day out! "We had an absolutely fantastic day and left with a great sense of satisfaction, and two functional items that we had made throughout the day. Andy and Adrian are great teachers, and the balance between guided work and time spent on your own is perfect. Debbie provided wonderful food and drink, and couldn't have been a better host. "Had a great day with Adrian, Andrew and Debbie in the Forge and actually successfully making something. From someone whose last foray in metalwork was 3 months trying unsuccessfully to file a 2" piece of metal square that is a great accolade. Not only was the tuition great but the food was wonderful as well. Thanks to everyone. Already have a few people interested in coming along to another day."

"What can I say, a truly amazing experience. As a complete novice I was unsure of my ability but through the expertise of Adrian and Andy I managed to learn the basics of blacksmithing. Adrian and Andy were always on hand to give you advice when needed. Debbie also provided us with wonderful food and refreshments throughout the day. The whole day was hugely enjoyable and I would highly recommend this to anyone who has an interest in the craft of blacksmithing. At the end of the course I felt great sense of achievement and had two practicle hand forged items which I am very proud of. Needless to say, I will definitely be attended future courses. Many thanks, Adrian, Andy and Debbie for a fantastic day."

"The toolmaking course was the usual Wood experience with its mixture of useful practical information and humorous banter. I opted to do something different to the norm as I have made quite a few tongues in the past. I opted for a couple of scroll formers. No problem to Adrian he just let me carry on and make them, both he and Andy on hand for advice when needed. Thanks lads. Debbies food was its usual excellence with the lemon drizzle cake exceedingly drizzly. Brilliant day."

I’m knackered and my forearms hurt so much along with my back but it was all worth it to bring home the 2 masterpieces that I made of a dragon hanger set and the keyring. From the first contact with you on email through to meeting you today and then the patience and support of the lads, it all went to make it a truly memorable day for me.
