Description

Step into the world of resin ocean art in this immersive Zoom & Bloom workshop! Together, we’ll craft a stunning shoreline scene, complete with crashing waves, soft sandy textures, and natural embellishments, all inspired by the raw beauty of the tides rolling in. Using one coat resin on a large aluminium canvas, you’ll explore pouring and layering techniques to create delicate lacing effects for frothy waves. You’ll also learn how to embellish your artwork with realistic coastal textures, incorporating seashells, sea glass, and other natural elements to add the perfect finishing touches, making your piece as unique as the shore itself. Your tutor will guide you through every step, sharing tips and tricks to achieve stunning effects with resin - especially the lacing. Whether it’s to perfect your techniques or simply get a resin re-cap, this workshop is for you. Unleash your creativity, connect with fellow art enthusiasts, and bring a piece of paradise to life from the comfort of your home. What You'll Learn: * Mastering Eco Pour for sculpting and crafting textured detail. Safely handling art work Apex Resins, and creating stormy sea effects. * Learn how to mix a variety of resin pigments to perfectly complement your piece - you will be encouraged to experiment with colours - so no two piece is alike. * Layering techniques with transparent resin tints for creating depth in your oceans. * Unlocking the art of resin lacing success.

Maker

Hi there! I'm a maker, a mama and an artist. I am inspired by nature, friendships, flowers, wellbeing and happy crafting. Based in the North Cotswolds, I love to share my passion, promote personal wellbeing through art & creativity and enable creative opportunity for all. My workshops are about bringing people together whilst sharing the love for arts and crafts.
