"The course was a lovely way to spend a day in half term. I attended this course as part of some teacher CPD with the hope of developing my knowledge and printing techniques. "My mum and I loved the batik painting course. We did this in Barbara's house and there was a relaxed informal atmosphere. Barbara showed us lots of ideas and helped when needed. She explained the technique clearly and let us experiment. Mum and I loved our finished paintings. It was a really enjoyable, relaxing day and no artistic ability is needed!!"

"What a lovely day we had! I did this course with three friends (and two very nice strangers) of varying degrees of artistic experience. Barbara taught us the basics of batik painting and with patience and a keen eye helped us create our own pictures. I hadn’t done any drawing or painting for years, and never had any particular skill, but I’m so proud of my batik painting that I’m going to frame it. Thank you, Barbara!
