Wire Autumn Leaf Jewellery Workshop | Durham
Description
This workshop is suitable for beginners with no previous jewellery making experience. The workshop allows participants to learn basic techniques and skills using wire to create leaf shapes, adding beads for a pop of colour. During this workshop you'll learn techniques such as basic plier skills, making 'p' loops and eye loops. You'll also learn how to attach jewellery findings to complete your items. You can expect to make x1 pendant and x1 pair of earrings by the end of this workshop. During this workshop refreshments will be provided. Places are limited to twelve people to allow each individual sufficient time with Lindsay to assist and oversee each project.

Use of required equipment/tools. All materials to make; x1 pendant and x1 pair of earrings. On hand experienced tutor to instruct and guide you through the course. Tea/coffee & biscuits/cakes.

Lindsay Forbes has worked in the jewellery industry since graduating in 3D Design in 2010. Working in a variety of areas from retail to repair, she has a great amount of knowledge in jewellery design and technical skills in goldsmithing. Following her passion for designing and making jewellery she founded her own business; Laconic. Passing on knowledge and skills is something that Lindsay enjoys doing and creating a fun, friendly environment where people can come to relax, be creative and learn and so 'Bench Box' was created!
