Screen print your own luxury gift wrap at The Arienas Collective in Edinburgh City Centre
Description
On this fun, festive-themed workshop you will hand print a set of high-quality gift wrap. With hands-on help from printmaker Lou Davis, you will screen print your own gift wrap on beautiful mulberry paper, choosing from a selection of pre-designed screens featuring Christmas themes. You’ll learn to mix inks, set up screens for printing and practice on coloured recycled card, which can be turned into wonderful gift tags, before making your final prints onto sheets of naturally dyed, delicate sheets of mulberry paper. In this workshop, we’ll have the option of using gold and silver inks for a luxurious finish, or design your own colour scheme to complement your chosen papers. You will go home with a set of up to 6 hand printed sheets of 50 x 70 gift wrap, plus a selection of gift tags.
