Description
Are you a beginner quiller? Do you love cats? Then this is the workshop for you! Quilling is a wonderful papercraft which uses strips of paper curled and shaped, and used on their edge. You can make gorgeous designs, and the light and colour really bounce around creating fabulous effects. In this quilling workshop we will be following the design in the pictures so you can practice quilling techniques and have something lovely to show for it too! if you’ve had a go with quilling, but you feel a little lost, and have questions you want answered, then this online workshop will be the perfect opportunity to increase your confidence in this wonderful paper craft. Using this design as our base, we’ll look at using the on-edge technique as well as coils. I will show you ways to vary your design to use it in other ways too. I will provide you with an A5 template to print out at home, either to quill directly onto or to use with a light box. It will be a relaxed, chatty workshop, with lots of opportunities to ask any questions, not just about the design we’re following but about anything else in the quilling world! I’m happy to show you techniques, explain equipment, talk through types of paper, or anything else you can think of. I can’t guarantee to know the answers to everything, but if there’s something I don’t know, I’ll do my best to find out!
