Printmaking Gelli Plates with Clare Basel at Cambridge Makers
Description
Join us for day of exploring texture and print using Gelli Plates. Gelli plates are extremely versatile and can be used to print without a printing press. They respond well to working with stencils, old lace, raffia, grasses, and mono printing. We will be using acrylic paints and posca pens and testing prints on a variety of surfaces. You will have a chance to learn about colour, composition, and printing and how you might develop your ideas in print. This taster session will enable you to try out a variety of tools and techniques and help you build on your own ideas.
