Description
Make your own pewter Christmas Decorations, no experience necessary, Fleur will guide you through the process step by step. Using the traditional pewter cuttlefish casting technique you will carve your Christmas decoration design into a cuttlefish bone and then use this as a mould to pour the molten pewter into. At the end of the workshop you will have 2-3 decorations to hang on your tree. For safety reason Fleur recommends wearing a long sleeve top and no open shoes while pouring the molten pewter. Contact fleur if you would like to make a private group booking for a date of your choice with 4-6 people on an alternative date. Fleur can do these on either a weekend or a week day. TUTOR - Fleur has worked with pewter for 30 years, designing and making her pewter homeware and sculptures alongside running workshops. She is also the author of Pewter Design & Techniques published by Crowood Press, so has experience in a variety of pewter techniques to share.
