This absorbing one-day course is suitable for all levels and anyone who has a glass kiln and wants to learn a new fabulous and engaging technique. The course tutor, glass artist Jane Larkin, has perfected 'Optics' beautifully and is willing to share her in-depth knowledge of this area with you. You will learn how to harness the alchemy of glass as it distorts in shape creating magical ordered patterns and trapping air bubbles precisely where you want them. During the course you will try different techniques and firing schedules alongside other great tips to make you a competent glass artist in optical pattern control. You can make jewellery, bowls, coasters or wall art using this method.
