On-Glaze ceramic painting workshop. Learn to decorate and paint with ceramic colours on to a glazed surface. Learn how to apply a lithographic transfer and how to mix coloured oxides ready for painting. Learn different methods of paint application.

What's included in the price?

Pots for painting on ie. a trinket box, bud vase. Lithographic water slide transfers. All colours, brushes and mediums required to paint with. A small set of colours and the mediums required for painting for you to take away and have a play with. Tuition from an accomplished ceramic artist. Tea and coffee. A working lunch. Pots will be fired after the course and re-fired if necessary dependent on the layered applications required to produce a satisfactory image. Pots to be collected after firing or sent out by post.

Both Lyn and Nathan are experts in their field of Ceramic Design. They each have over 30 years experience working in the Ceramic Industry, Lyn as an artist/designer and Nathan as a modeller and manufacturer. They have collaborated before, Nathan supplying the pots for Lyn to paint, one of which was gifted to King Charles on a visit to The Potteries when he was The Prince of Wales.
