Welcome to our Millinery Academy! We offer immersive 4-week courses (3 hours per week) designed to develop your hat-making skills with a focus on seasonal creations. Join us for daytime classes on Wednesdays or evening classes on Thursdays to suit your schedule. This structured program is perfect for aspiring milliners and seasoned crafters alike, with tailored modules dedicated to Winter and Summer styles, as well as a more advanced workshop for those looking to refine their techniques. This module focuses on crafting light, stylish headwear ideal for warmer weather and special occasions. Like fascinators, cocktail hats or sun hats. Key learning points include: - Blocking Straw and Sinamay: Develop skills to block these popular summer materials into various hat shapes suitable for both casual and formal wear. - Fabric Flower Making: Learn to craft delicate fabric flowers that add a summery touch to hats. - Feather Manipulation: Explore techniques for shaping and manipulating feathers to enhance headpieces. - Working with Veiling: Gain expertise in incorporating veiling into designs, adding elegance and sophistication. Weekly demonstrations will introduce a variety of techniques and materials. Students are encouraged to practice hand-stitching at home to maximise class time. Participants are free to create as many hats as desired during the module. NB: There will be no classes the week of May 26th. we will resume as normal the following week.

Full access to equipment and studio facilities: All tools and equipment needed for hat-making will be provided, ensuring you have everything required to bring your designs to life. Some materials provided: You’ll have access to wire, stiffeners, threads, glues, and other essentials, with additional supplies available for purchase if needed. In-depth demonstrations and expert support: Benefit from comprehensive demonstrations on new techniques each week, along with personalised guidance from an experienced instructor. Supplier List: Receive a curated list of suppliers for sourcing materials, empowering you to continue your millinery journey beyond the course. Certificate of completion: Upon finishing the module, you’ll receive a certificate that recognises your new skills and dedication to the art of millinery.

A proud member of the esteemed British Hat Guild, Pasquinelli is known for her daring designs and impeccable craftsmanship, each piece is a work of art combining exquisite, traditional millinery with a contemporary philosophy and passion for style and detail.
