No sorry we do not have lift access. The workshop is located on the first floor accessible via a spiral staircase.
A frequently asked question and I understand the lovely idea of this, however this isnt something we can offer our participants. There is a lot of work and risk involved in the process of melting down and forming your metal and in the removal of your stones therefore we do not offer this the participants.
No we supply the metal for you to use to make your jewellery.
We are frequently asked if participants can bring their own old or sentimental jewellery to melt down to use during the class. Unfortunately this isn't something we can offer during the time allocated and there is a lot more involved than simply melting down the metal.
The time allocated for each experience is usually enough time to complete the project, however sometimes it may go over by a few minutes. Whatever happens please rest assured that you will always leave with a beautiful, finished piece of jewellery you have made from scratch.
Yes! After an initial introduction to the studio (The Jewellers Peg) You will be guided throughout the entire process from start to finish and will hand make your own item of jewellery. The tutor(s) will demonstrate each step before you do each task and will be on hand at all times to assist you.
