Make a Freshwater Pearl and Silver Bracelet - Jewellery Workshop
Description
In this 3.5 hour afternoon workshop you will learn to create your very own sterling silver and freshwater pearl bracelet. Working with sterling silver wire and freshwater pearl beads we will use traditional jewellery making techniques to create a beautiful bracelet for you to take home and wear. If you don't wear bracelets, a chain can be purchased to adapt the bracelet to being a necklace. If time allows a pair of earrings can also be made to match. With a wide selection of shapes and colours of freshwater pearls available to choose from, you will be able to make a bracelet that is perfect for you. The workshop will take place at The Studio at Millbank, Millbank House, Cumnock and a maximum of 8 attendees will take part in the workshop. Suitable for those aged 12 to 94+, no previous jewellery experience is necessary, all materials to make the bracelet are supplied and all tools needed for the class will be provided for use in the workshop. Those aged 12 - 16 must be accompanied by a fee paying adult. Loose clothing should be avoided, closed toe shoes should be worn and please remember to bring glasses if needed as we will be working with small objects.

The Studio at Millbank is an educational workspace for the delivery of jewellery making classes for up to 8 students. Nestled in the historic heart of Cumnock, deep in the rural Ayrshire countryside, The Studio at Millbank is a beautiful, light and airy workspace found upstairs in Millbank House in Cumnock. The Studio is home to Crazy for Ruthie Jewellery and as well as a working studio is an educational space for the delivery of jewellery classes and workshops for up to 8 students at a time. As well as an advertised programme of workshops, individual and group lessons can be booked privately.
