Description

It's never to early to brighten up your door and bring some joy to your home with a gorgeous living spring bulb wreath. Alternatively, these beautiful 'on trend', and more importantly, sustainable wreaths, will brighten an interior wall and are perfect for late winter or early spring, Mother's Day, and Easter Gifts. You will love learning a new skill by making this all natural, circular or tear drop living wreath that appeals to both gardeners and crafters alike. First, you will learn to create and weave a beautiful willow/birch wreath base, and cover it with a layer of moss as a foundation for the beautiful springtime bulbs and seasonal foraged treasures. You will then be guided step by step through the process of binding on the bulbs and arranging the additional foliage on the wreath, to ensure a unique and personalised wreath. Depending on seasonal availability, there will be a selection of mixed bulbs available, .e.g. Hyacinths, Muscari, Narcissus,Tête-à-Tête' Crocus, or Tulips. Once completed, the bulbs will gradually grow and bloom over the weeks, ensuring a wonderful splash of colour and a cheerful welcome home to yourself, visitors, and passers-by. The wreath is completely sustainable, as after flowering the bulbs can be replaced, planted out in the garden or stored in a cool, dark place for the following year. The wreath base can also be reused for the next season, making it extremely planet friendly. The kit is perfect for yourself or for a friend/family member as a unique gift for any occasion. What's included in the price?

Your kit will include everything you need to make a completed wreath, .i.e. bulbs, moss, seasonal foliage, binding wire and moss pins. Also included is a comprehensive guide, and an online instructional video.

Jenni is a passionate florist, creator, crafter and teacher with over 35 years in the floral industry with extensive expertise in both wholesale and retail and events. Originally from South Africa where she started out in the wholesale of dried flowers and then naturally moved into fresh flowers where she ran 3 successful florist shops. There was an opportunity for expansion to the UK in the dried flower division so she moved with her family and established 2 very successful florist businesses in Wimbledon and Chelsea with a celebrity portfolio. After 10 years, missing the warmth of Africa she moved to Spain and lived bordering a nature reserve where she would host many wildflowers walks, foraging workshops and courses. At her luxury venue, she hosted many of weddings and functions, often to 1000's of guests at a time. After 20 years in Spain, she came back to the UK and set up a studio florist in the Oxfordshire area, specialising in wedding and events and craft workshops. Jenni combines her extensive floristry and gardening experience after establishing 3 gardens from scratch and is now not only a small scale flower farmer, but also grows and dries her own flowers as well as making crafts and selling DIY kits and hosting in-person workshops for all levels and abilities in Didcot, Faringdon and Nettlebed Woodlands, Near Henley on Thames. Her style is natural and draws from and reflects the influence of the different countries that she lived in and her surroundings including her private woodland that a lot of her material is sourced and grown in. Sustainability is a key principal in her designs as well as caring for the environment in all aspects of her floristry work.

We had plenty of bulbs and choice of supplies given to make the wreath. We all had a lovely time making the wreaths and they look lovely on the door I can't wait to see how it develops! So many options and of course the bulbs are replantable as well as the wreath base reusable, once deconstructed. "This was the most amazing craft experience, I would highly recommend. The kit came beautifully wrapped and labelled, clearly with such care and love. It was great that we could pause and repeat bits over again to make sure we were doing it right.
