Introductory course for people with little or no previous experience. There are only 4 students per course so everyone receives individual tuition. 10am - 4pm lunch Teas and coffee available Please bring your own packed lunch. Parking - FREE SAT NAV - Postcode RM4 1HB, Location - out building on private property in Essex country side The course syllabus: You will learn to identify different types of leather from chrome tanned to vegetable tanned, you will gain a understanding of their qualities, and what type of leather suits each product. Learn to maintain hand tools. Cut out leather using a pre-made pattern. Learn to hand stitch with confidence. Finish edges including beveling & burnishing of vegetable tanned leather.
