Description

Day One - Scatter cushions Scatter cushions add decorative detail to any room as well as bringing in accent colours to a scheme. They also give us extra comfort and practical support. They come in many different shapes and sizes, with decorative trims, and a choice of fabrics to suit your scheme. They are adaptable and affordable little design statements. The aim of this class is to show you how to plan, cut, sew and finish a simple piped and zipped scatter cushion. This class is suitable for anyone with basic sewing machine skills. Day Two - Box cushion Bench seat cushions can be a great way of creating more seating inside or outside your home. Inside a window recess, on top of a wooden bench or on a purpose-built kitchen banquette! The aim of the class is to demonstrate how to plan, cut and sew a simple fabric cover with zip and optional piping edge to fit over a piece of foam or Ultraflex, cut to the size you require (should be no wider than 1.3 metres).
