My "introduction to Engraving techniques" is a course designed to cover the three common techniques used in hand engraving. 1)Hand push engraving. 2)Hammer and chisel. 3)Power assist using GRS and pulsegraver systems. This course is designed to show the student the differences between the three techniques, and the equipment and set up costs associated with each. It will be a hands on course where the student will be able to try each technique and understand its unique style/application and results.

I am a hand engraver using traditional techniques of "push engraving" with a graver, hammer and chisel, and power assist using GRS and Pulsegraver systems. I have studied in Florence Italy, USA, Luxembourg, Belgium and the UK. I have won numerous hand engraving awards over the years and compliment my commission work with teaching which I love.
