Description
Technical woodwork and furniture building course. Mortice and tenon joints are used for many different types of construction including the construction of tables, chairs, windows, doors, stools and other structures. There are many different types of mortice and tenon joints but the main ones are: Through tenon, blind tenon and haunched tenon. With these and other commonly used joints you can tackle any project with some hand tools and sketch. Join David at the Great British Woodshop to learn about these joints ready for your next project. Course located in Surrey.
What's included in the price?
Tea and coffee are available throughout the day. There is no lunch provided so bring your own or there is a local shop 1 min drive away. Local train station is approx 10 mins walk and parking is available at the workshop.
