Description
Do you own a vintage electric, foot, or hand-operated sewing machine that has been sitting idle, with thoughts like "if only I could get it working again" swirling in your mind? Now is the perfect time to bring it back to life! I offer a personalised service to help you thoroughly examine your beloved sewing machine for any faults it may have, clean and restore it if needed, and equip you with the basic skills to start sewing like a pro. The exact process we undertake will depend on the condition of your machine. While I do not stock parts on hand, I will assist you in diagnosing any issues and guide you in sourcing the necessary parts to repair it. If, for any reason, we cannot fix your machine during our session, I can provide hands-on coaching using one of my own machines. This way, you will gain the confidence and skills needed to dive right into your sewing projects as soon as your own machine is up and running! Let's transform your "if only" into "I can do this!" Visit Sewing Vee for the opportunity to develop your sewing and crafting skills and to meet people who share interests through a number of courses and events hosted at my rural Oxfordshire studio. I try to use as many recycled materials as I can, and to re-use things and repurpose them where possible. Sewing Vee is located just 10 minutes from junction 10 of the M40 in a quiet rural setting.
