If you're looking for things to do in Worcestershire, why not treat yourself or a loved one to the gift of a wonderful day out in the beautiful grounds of an old Tudor farmhouse, and learn all of the steps needed to start your own kitchen garden. Learn to feed your family with the very freshest of homegrown food! We'll cover the theory you'll need, but this will be very much a practical experience where we hope to inspire you to get started and to turn your fingers green! No prior experience needed, come and breathe the freshest air and feel the sun (or equally likely rain) on your face. We'll cover - - Location - Preparation/design - Choosing what to grow - Seed sowing - Soil health - Plant raising - Basics of permaculture - Crop care (dealing with pests/diseases) - Seasonal planner/good planning techniques Please ensure that you bring suitable footwear and clothing, being a British outdoors event, we should all be "ready for anything!" If it rains, it rains, it's only weather too! :)
