Description

Spend a day playing in the studio and painting like a child! Children have a fantastic ability to create with intuition. As adults, we often allow the urge to do something great, to stifle our artistic freedom. We will use a variety of materials to loosen up and rediscover our real style, silencing the inner critic. This is a great foundation to making more sensitive and playful artwork.

What's included in the price?

Tea and coffee are available throughout the day. You are welcome to bring lunch to the studio, or grab a bite from the excellent tea rooms next door! All materials and tools for the day of painting are provided.

Message the tutor

I study landscapes, weather and seasonal change with a strong emphasis on colour. Currently I am painting with oils, but I regularly produce work with oil pastels, acrylics and inks. My love of the landscape and the ever changing weather conditions are my starting point, developing my work through sketches that explore composition and colour. From here, I work to create vivid and stimulating final pieces.
