Description
This wet felting beginners kit is designed by textile artist and painter Barbara Meek from Feltworld Creative Arts. This simple felt picture was inspired by Barbara walking in the countryside by her home in Staffordshire, it lent itself to being painted with natural fibres. Using vibrant colours in merino wool, shimmering silks fibres. This wool and silk painting kit is suitable for complete beginners to some experience. You will find that working with fluffy natural fibres has a therapeutic element to it and become relaxed in this captivating art form. Laying and shaping fibres, blending the colours together as an artist would blend paints is so relaxing. The colours may vary slightly due to the colour batch dyes at the time. Same with the silk stems but they will be similar, you can change the design as suits you too. Save a bit of the white and make a little cottage!!! :-) . You will have access to Barbara’s short video link introduction into wet feltmaking with this kit. Follow Barbara’s step by step instructions in this kit to create this lovely picture to frame.
