Join an exciting and welcoming fused glass crafting experience with a fun festive twist! In this beginner-friendly crafting session, you'll have the opportunity to create two stunning items from the following options: a set of two coasters, a set of three decorative pieces, artwork for a stand, and a curved candle holder. To get us in the mood, we'll be playing some festive tunes and having a mince pie or two! During the workshop, you'll be introduced to the fascinating world of fused glass art, utilizing techniques like screen printing and embossing, all while working with an array of coloured glass sheets, granules, glass rods, and metallic sheets. Your friendly and skilled teacher is Wendy, a talented glass artist who will be there every step of the way to assist you and address any queries you might have as you delve into the world of fused glass techniques. Your glass will be fired after the workshop and ready in 14 days. An additional postage fee of £6 per person is required if you can’t collect the glass in person. Allergies / animal fears - Please note that the workshops are run from Wendy's home studio where she has a pet dog and cat. The dog is a poodle mix (hypoallergenic) who is out with a dog sitter whilst the workshops are on and the cat is kept out of the workshop space. Sorry but the home/studio is not suitable for wheelchairs as access is via steps.
